One of the best free-agent moves this offseason in the NFL was the Philadelphia Eagles signing Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley.
They got the former Penn State star on a three-year deal before he could go anywhere else.
Former Super Bowl champion and Pro Bowl wide receiver Greg Jennings recently told “The Carton Show” that he believes Barkley will have a career year this season.
“Saquon Barkley has always been the focal point of an offense…He’s going to get over 1,000, and I think he’s actually going to get his career-high this year,” Jennings predicted.

If Barkley does that, that would mean he would eclipse his career mark of 1,312 yards that he set in 2022 with the Giants.
While playing in New York for six seasons, Barkley had three 1,000-yard rushing seasons and four 1,000-yard seasons in terms of scrimmage yards.
He is a game-changer when he has the ball in his hands.
The thing with him joining the Eagles is that he now has a competent offense around him.
There is talent all over the field.
While the Giants are still stuck on square one as a franchise, the Eagles were able to quickly switch coaches and quarterbacks a few years ago.
Now, they are back in contention.
The offensive line, despite losing future Hall of Fame center Jason Kelce, is still solid.
With quarterback Jalen Hurts’ running abilities, Philly should be able to fool a lot of defenses.
Combine that with the Eagles’ great offensive line and Barkley should have a career year.
That is if he remains healthy.
