The Pittsburgh Steelers got a major steal with Russell Wilson.
Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan rolled the dice with a veteran who was on his way out of the league, turning him into a legitimate star again.
That’s why, talking on CBS Sports, Adam Schein admitted he was wrong about him.
He claimed that if Russell Wilson was cooked, then he was a Michelin-star chef.

He admitted that he thought Wilson wasn’t going to return to his former level, praising him, Mike Tomlin, and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith for this amazing turnaround.
Wilson was coming off the worst stretch of his career, and it wasn’t easy to watch at all.
Nathaniel Hackett can be blamed for the first season, but Sean Payton made sure to let everybody know that Wilson was the reason for the team’s struggles in his second year with the Denver Broncos.
Of course, he was a low-risk pickup at that price, as the Broncos agreed to pay him millions of dollars just to get him out of there.
But even still, there were no guarantees.
Even this season, most people agreed that the Steelers should’ve stayed with Justin Fields after a 4-2 start, and Tomlin’s decision to turn back to his veteran once he got healthy was met with skepticism.
Now, it seems like Wilson isn’t only back, but he also might be their guy for the next couple of years, at the very least.
