Amari Cooper is back in the NFL.
Just when it seemed like he was going to remain unsigned, the wide receiver is back where he started his career, signing a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.
As shown by Levi Edwards on X, Cooper will wear No. 19 after the Raiders waived Tommy Mellott.

Cooper wore No. 89 during his first stint with the Raiders, but that number now belongs to star tight end Brock Bowers.
The Raiders selected Cooper with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and he was with the organization until 2018, when he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys as one of several controversial moves made by Jon Gruden.
Cooper is entering his 11th NFL season, having also played for the Cleveland Browns and, most recently, the Buffalo Bills.
In 154 games, he has 711 receptions for 10,033 yards and 64 touchdowns.
He’s missed just nine games since he entered the league and has played the second-most games since 2015, behind only Tyler Lockett (161).
The Browns traded him to the Bills during last season, yet he failed to make an impact for Buffalo.
Now, he’ll give his former team a reliable veteran pass catcher for its new-look offense led by quarterback Geno Smith and orchestrated by coordinator Chip Kelly under head coach Pete Carroll.
