Albert Pujols finally put an end to his legendary career last fall when he officially retired from the game of baseball along with his St. Louis Cardinals teammate in Yadier Molina.
The 2022 season was a historic year for Pujols, as he reached and ultimately passed the 700-homer mark.
He also helped guide the Cardinals to an NL Central title.
But recently, fans have been asking the AI app “Chat GPT” to make lists of some of the greatest MLB players of their respective eras.
MLB on FOX asked Chat GPT to make a list of the best hitters in baseball since 2000.
The list shows Pujols at the top.

Pujols certainly had a legendary 22-year career and accomplished many great things during his time in Major League Baseball.
Most of his major accomplishments came during his first stint with the Cardinals.
Pujols won a batting title, two World Series rings, three MVP Awards, two Gold Gloves, six Silver Slugger Awards, an NLCS MVP Award, and was an All-Star 11 times over the course of his career.
So naturally, it’s easy to see why the slugger ranks at the top of this list.
Other stars on the list include Miguel Cabrera, Ichiro Suzuki, Mike Trout, Barry Bonds, Manny Ramirez, Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, Joey Votto, and Adrian Beltre.
While this is not an official list, Pujols is still in some elite company and had a truly remarkable career.
His accomplishments speak for themselves and the great moments he had during his career will never be forgotten.
