Much has been discussed about the Apple TV+ role in tonight’s schedule in MLB.
The streaming service bought the rights to stream some MLB games on Fridays, and Aaron Judge‘s pursuit of 61 (and 62) home runs will be aired only through Apple TV+ tonight, as the New York Yankees host the Boston Red Sox.
However, let’s not forget about historic home run chase going on tonight that won’t be available on regular TV networks.
“Btw, Pujols pursuit of 700 is also on Apple tonight,” New York Post’s Andrew Marchand tweeted.

The St. Louis Cardinals, Albert Pujols‘ team, will visit the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight.
Left-hander Andrew Heaney will be on the mound, so Pujols, who plays mostly against southpaws, will likely be in the lineup.
Pujols’ chase is a bit different than Judge’s.
Pujols’ Quest For History
In addition to the calendar, the legendary first baseman has to fend off time and his own role.
He barely plays against righties because he is very bad against them.
He punishes lefties, though, and that’s when he usually is in the lineup.
The future Hall of Famer needs two home runs to become the fourth man ever to reach 700 long-balls in the history of the game.
Only Barry Bonds, Henry Aaron, and Babe Ruth have done it.
Pujols is at 698 as of Friday night.
Heaney is known for being homer-prone, so we might be able to watch 699 tonight.
Well, at least those who use the Apple TV+ service.
The games will be free, although there might be a technological barrier for some audiences to enjoy them.
Both Judge and Pujols could inch closer to cool achievements, and a lot of people won’t be able to watch.
