The Detroit Lions keep losing players to injuries.
It all started when Michigan star DE Aidan Hutchinson suffered a gruesome fracture earlier in the season.
The team was quick to go after veteran Za’Darius Smith to replace him.
Even so, Hutchinson was playing at a Defensive Player of the Year level.
That’s why the fans should be fired up to know that he could still return to the field this season.
As Peter Schrager showed on X on Tuesday, the star defensive end announced that he would be back on the gridiron for the Super Bowl.

The Lions have absolutely everything going on for them to make the Super Bowl.
Even with all the injuries, the team still has a plethora of talent on both sides of the field.
They control their destiny to ensure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The fans and analysts have expressed concerns about Dan Campbell and his aggressive decision-making.
It seems like he’s constantly trying to make a statement, even when he doesn’t need to.
That has been fun to watch at times but dangerous as well.
That already cost his team a trip to the Super Bowl in last season’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, and it would be a shame if it happened again, especially with Hutchinson potentially being ready for the final game of the season.
