Detroit Lions fans are hoping for a miracle to turn their beloved team’s fortunes around.

They have suffered long enough even if their squad made occasional playoff appearances.

It’s been three decades since they last won a postseason game and they couldn’t break the ice ever since.

To highlight how long it has been since the Lions last won in the playoffs, defensive end Aidan Hutchison wasn’t even born yet.

This year, they are hoping that the former Michigan standout will help turn the franchise’s fortunes around.

The same people who cheered for him when he was with the Wolverines will also root for him to have success in Motor City.

How fitting will it be to have a Michigan lifer bring the long-suffering NFL team to relevance?

But for now, Hutchinson is getting Lions fans talking through this hype video.

The short clip shows a series of exercises that improves his balance, speed, agility, and strength.

He will need all of those attributes to reach the quarterback or put pressure to make a hurried throw.

On his part, he would like to prove that he is the rightful top overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

He was selected one spot after Travon Walker, who went to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

But in some ways, it’s like divine providence to have a Michigan native help the Lions rise from the ashes.

The Lions Need A Boost On Defense

Hutchinson could give their pass rush a bite since they were one of the worst teams in terms of generating sacks.

Therefore, the team hopes that he can translate the drills he did on that video during the actual games.

If he does, he could be a prime candidate for Defensive Rookie of the Year and earn a Pro Bowl selection.
