The Arizona Cardinals are looking to shake things up.
They’ve struggled to close out games lately, and head coach Jonathan Gannon is looking for a spark.
Unfortunately, he will have to do so without his starting quarterback.
According to a report by NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Cardinals will have to turn to Jacoby Brissett to face his former team:
“It’ll be Brissett against his former team. And it won’t be the only change on the Cardinals’ offense. Bam Knight moves into a more prominent role at the running back position ahead of Michael Carter. It’ll be Jacoby Brissett and Bam Knight going up against the Indianapolis Colts as the Cardinals try to rebound from that difficult defeat last week,” Schefter said.

Murray sustained a foot injury in the embarrassing loss to the Tennessee Titans.
As for the running game, it’s not much of a surprise to hear that Emari Demercado won’t get to start after his blunder cost his team the win.
The Cardinals haven’t been very good this season, especially in second halves.
As for Murray, he might be playing the worst football of his career.
He hasn’t taken off as a scrambler as often, which isn’t a surprise at this point, given all the injuries he’s dealt with.
He’s injury-prone, and all the reports about his leadership and maturity, or lack thereof, demeanor, and work ethic might finally make this team move on from its former No. 1 pick.
He certainly hasn’t done much to help his case, and while Coach Gannon should also get plenty of the blame, it’s hard to take a look at Murray and believe he can lead this team to the Super Bowl.
Of course, Jacoby Brissett isn’t the answer either, but it will be interesting to see whether he can be more efficient running this offense.
