The New York Jets’ defense has been solid this season, but all good things can get better.
Woody Johnson’s decision to fire Robert Saleh five games into the season proves that he’s all-in about winning now, and he knows that Haason Reddick gives them a better chance to win.
Reddicks’ former agents dropped him a couple of days ago, but now that he’s hired Drew Rosenhaus, things could change rather quickly.
When asked about that, Adam Schefter claimed that the fact that Reddick hired a new agent so quickly makes it seem as if he were trying to get back on the field soon.
Talking on The Pat McAfee Show, the renowned insider stated that he didn’t know whether this was going to lead to a new deal, a trade, or more of the same.
"The fact that Haason Reddick has hired a new agent this quickly tells you that he wants to play football..
It changes the dynamics of the equation but I don't know if that's gonna lead to a deal"@AdamSchefter #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/057jrbehSX

Then again, this at least assures that both parties will have some long-overdue conversations about how to fix this situation as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Schefter believes Reddick was being pressured by his former agents to take some deals he wasn’t comfortable with.
Now, he doesn’t have that much leverage.
He’s lost almost $10 million already, and while he was reportedly willing to hold out the season, it could all change very quickly with Rosenhaus now leading the way.
