The Carolina Panthers got their hands on a special talent when they drafted Bryce Young.
The standout quarterback out of Alabama is expected to be one of the league’s stars for years to come, and he’s left a very good impression throughout the offseason.
Notably, a big part of development in this game is listening to what the older players have to say, especially when those older players happen to be future first-ballot Hall of Famers.
With that in mind, Young seemed thrilled to connect with Aaron Rodgers during his team’s joint practices with the New York Jets.
Rodgers seemingly gave him some pointers, with Young thanking him after.

Ironically, some people criticized Rodgers for not embracing a leadership and mentorship role with the younger players during his days with the Green Bay Packers, but he’s had an entirely different attitude since leaving Wisconsin.
Rodgers is one of the most talented and impactful offensive players to ever lace them up, and passing that wisdom to the next generation will only help change the narrative around him.
It seems like leaving the Packers has given him a different perspective overall, and he seems to be happier than ever.
As for Young, he still has some doubters to silence, as there are some serious questions regarding his lack of size and muscle and how he’ll be able to withstand the physicality of the NFL.
But Rodgers sure knows a thing or two about avoiding sacks and contact, so maybe that’s what they were talking about there.
