The Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers got off to a strong start to the season.
Their defense didn’t play to its usual level, but the offense received a vintage performance from their new veteran quarterback.
However, Rodgers knew he couldn’t do it on his own.
That’s why, while talking about Steelers Nation, he tipped his hat to the fans for traveling to MetLife Stadium and making the team feel right at home facing the New York Jets.
“The thing I can say that I do know about Steeler fans is, in the fourth quarter, in crunch time, when [the Jets] had the ball at MetLife, it was loud. And that was our fans,” Rodgers said.

The Steelers have some of the most loyal fans in sports, and having that type of support in crucial moments can be a big advantage.
In Week 1, it helped Pittsburgh escape with a narrow win against an opponent that played surprisingly well on offense.
The Steelers’ defense is too talented to give up 30 points every week, and the offensive line will have to do a better job of keeping Rodgers upright.
The 41-year-old won’t throw four touchdowns and zero interceptions every week. That’s just not realistic at this point in his career.
They will need everybody else to step up and put him in a position to succeed consistently.
Whatever the case, one thing’s for sure. Steelers Nation will be right by their side, waving their Terrible Towels.
