Aaron Rodgers is now shaping up to take the field in the Green Bay Packers’ matchup against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
After their game against the Philadelphia Eagles, there was league-wide speculation that Rodgers wouldn’t play for the rest of the season, and the Packers would see what they had in their former first-round draft pick Jordan Love.
However, that doesn’t look like it will be the case, at least in their game against the Bears this week.

Every Tuesday during the NFL season, Aaron Rodgers appears on the Pat McAfee Show.
This 15-60 minute segment usually consists of breaking down the previous Packers game, talking about the week ahead, and any other pertinent information about Rodgers’ life.
Aaron Rodgers, Newscaster?
As seen in the tweet above, Rodgers also has gotten into the habit of breaking news about himself on the Pat McAfee Show, and today was no exception.
Rodgers announced that he will be playing in Sunday’s game against the Bears, surprising many Packers fans and members of sports media alike.
Before this segment, Rodgers’ status was very much in the air for this game, as the results of his scans were unclear.
While the Packers are currently in-line to have the eighth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, it appears as though they are not throwing the towel in on this season.
With Rodgers on the field, the Packers appear that they are committed to winning at all costs, despite their 4-8 record.
Love might have to wait another year to get a full-time chance as the Packers starter.
