The New York Jets kick off the season with an epic divisional clash vs. the Buffalo Bills.
It’s not so often that you get to see the Jets on primetime television, let alone in the first Monday Night Football game of the campaign.
But that was before Aaron Rodgers arrived in town, so that should be more of a trend going forward.
Rodgers has been a marquee name in this league and must-watch television for quite a while, and MNF games suit him very well.
As a matter of fact, the legendary quarterback is on a nine-game winning streak on Monday Night Football (via NFL on ESPN), and he could make it 10-0 with a win over Sean McDermott’s squad in Week 1.

The Jets enter this season as one of the oddsmakers’ favorites to come out of the AFC.
The AFC East division will be one of the most competitive in the league, as the Bills, Miami Dolphins, and even New England Patriots will look to challenge Rodgers in this new endeavor.
The Jets boast one of the best defenses in the game, and they have more than enough talent and playmakers on offense to keep their rivals on their toes, not to mention a future first-ballot Hall of Famer under center.
But Robert Saleh’s team is also under a lot of pressure to perform right now.
Anything short of a deep postseason run should be considered a big failure, and Saleh could be out of his job if they fail to live up to the expectations.
