The Pittsburgh Steelers officially have a new quarterback.
Following months of speculation and back-and-forth, Aaron Rodgers decided to play for a little longer.
As expected, he signed a one-year deal to join Mike Tomlin’s team after a two-year stint with the New York Jets.
Notably, he’ll finally get a chance to play against his former team, the Green Bay Packers.
As such, he could join a very exclusive list of just five quarterbacks who have beaten all 32 NFL teams in their careers (via Adam Schefter).

So far, only legends like Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees have done so.
The Steelers will host the Packers in Week 8, and it will be the first matchup with his successor, Jordan Love, who also raved about having a chance to go at it with the player he looked up to and sat behind for three years.
Rodgers is one of the most gifted pure passers the game has ever seen, and a future first-ballot Hall of Famer.
Then again, given the lack of offensive weapons, Arthur Smith’s offensive scheme, some questions about the offensive line, and Rodgers’ age, some analysts aren’t so optimistic about the Steelers’ offense in 2025.
He’s coming off a down year after coming back from a season-ending injury, and Father Time spares no victims.
Still, Rodgers’ days with the Packers came to a heated resolution, and he’s going to try to make a statement and have a vintage performance to beat his former team at all costs.
