Excitement is in the air throughout the Tri-state area, as future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now a member of the New York Jets.
His mere presence should act as a catalyst for a team that already possessed some promising talent on both sides of the football, and he could elevate them to Super Bowl contender status this fall and winter.
He has already gotten in some work with his new teammates, and people are talking about a spectacular touchdown reception wide receiver Garrett Wilson made off a pass from him.

Rodgers is 39 years of age, and his numbers went down last year during his final season with the Green Bay Packers.
It is a fair question whether his production declined because Father Time is finally starting to catch up to him, or if it was simply because of the departure of superstar wideout Davante Adams.
Jets fans are hoping that Wilson will become Rodgers’ new version of Adams moving forward.
Wilson certainly had a nice rookie season in 2022 with 1,103 receiving yards, which earned him the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
But the burden won’t completely fall on him, as Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, two of Rodgers’ old wide receiver targets in Green Bay, are now with him in New York.
In addition, the team already had the fourth-best scoring defense in the NFL last season, and with cornerback Sauce Gardner, the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year, and star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, that defense should still be elite this season.
