Aaron Judge is on an absolute tear.
The New York Yankees slugger has been putting on a show since the start of the season.
He’s on an unreal home run pace and is showing no signs of slowing down.
On Monday and Tuesday, he hit home runs No. 50 and 51, respectively against the Los Angeles Angels.
With 51 total home runs on the season, he enters the month of September with a lead of 15 homers over the runner up in baseball.
Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies is in second on the home run leaderboard with 36.
Judge has joined Babe Ruth as the only players to ever enter September with a lead of at least 15 home runs.
Ruth did it five times during his career.
It's September 1st and Aaron Judge has 15 more home runs than any other player (Kyle Schwarber).
Judge joins Babe Ruth (5x) as the only players ever to enter September with a lead of at least 15 HR.

Judge Matches The Babe
Judge might make some home run history before long.
This power surge has him at the top of the home run leaderboard and on pace to shatter his record of 52 home runs from 2017, his rookie season.
People may be tired of hearing it, but it’s hard to imagine a scenario this year where Judge isn’t the unanimous choice to win the American League MVP Award.
He’s been tearing it up since the beginning of the season and isn’t slowing down.
To be in such elite company with a guy like Babe Ruth is impressive, especially considering that Ruth entered September with a lead of 15 or more home runs five times during his career.
Judge is still relatively early in his career, so to already be able to match a guy like Ruth is a big accomplishment.
Judge certainly is proving to be a tough costumer for any given pitcher.
We’ll what September has in store for him.
