The past few days have been bittersweet for Green Bay Packers fans.
Fans were initially excited to hear about the team’s signing of Josh Jacobs, which was immediately met with disappointment, as it meant that Aaron Jones was out the door.
After leaving the Packers, he signed with their bitter rival, the Minnesota Vikings, who are delighted to have Jones on their roster.
While Jones is a 29-year-old running back, he proved to have a lot of gas left in the tank last season when he was healthy, which could help jumpstart the Vikings’ offense.
Jones appears excited to be a member of this team as well, which was demonstrated by him saying “Skol” at the end of his press conference, which was shared by the team on Twitter.
What a walkoff.

“Skol” has been the rallying cry from the Vikings fanbase for several years, a chant that has become one of the most well-known across the league.
Jones already seems to have bought into the fanbase and the Minnesota culture.
With any luck, his veteran experience can help bring this team to the next level, and he can contribute as a pass-catcher and a rusher.
There are many questions surrounding the Vikings heading into the 2024 season.
One of the most significant remains at the quarterback position, as the team has moved on from Kirk Cousins and signed Sam Darnold.
They also haven’t signed Justin Jefferson to a contract extension, which remains the largest elephant in the room.
Regardless of these questions, Jones is in the building, ready to help this rebuilding team in any way he can.
