The Denver Nuggets have finally joined the list of NBA teams with at least one championship.
Needless to say, that title run had plenty to do with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, but their role players also played a huge part in their success.
That includes Bruce Brown, who had already emerged as a solid contributor for the Brooklyn Nets last season before taking his game to a whole new level with the Nuggets.
That’s why Aaron Gordon believes Brown is in for a huge payday in the offseason, even if it’s not in Denver, per Mike Scotto.

The University of Miami product struggled to establish his footing early in his career, but he’s made a name for himself for his defense and hustle over the past couple of years.
Brown plays solid defense and can guard multiple positions despite his lack of size.
He can knock down shots from all three levels and is a solid slasher and finisher with both hands.
He talked some trash throughout the playoffs and backed it up on the court, even having some great games in the NBA Finals.
The Nuggets got him at a major discount, and they’re unlikely to be able to retain him next season unless he agrees to take a significant pay cut, which doesn’t seem realistic.
They’ll likely have to give rookie Christian Braun a bigger role going forward, as Brown is about to have plenty of offers sitting on his table after back-to-back seasons of making winning plays on both ends of the floor.
