The New York Yankees won the American League East division for the second time in the last three years after finishing with a record of 94-68.
After winning the division, the Yankees proceeded to make a postseason run to the World Series which was their first appearance since 2009.
The Yankees announced that manager Aaron Boone will return for the 2025 season, but they are still waiting to see if superstar free agent outfielder Juan Soto will return to the team.
While Boone waits to see if one of the best players in baseball returns to the Yankees next season, he spent this Sunday enjoying another sport.
According to John Clark on ‘X,’ Boone was seen attending the Philidelphia Eagles game on Sunday.

Boone has been a manager in the MLB since 2018 and has managed the Yankees for all seven seasons of his managing career.
Although Boone likely has a high stress level waiting for the Soto sweepstakes to play out, he was seen attending the Eagles game on Sunday.
Boone has previously said that he has lost sleep over the Soto free agency, but he will likely get an answer from Soto this week about where he will play in 2025.
The Yankees have the most World Series titles in the MLB with 27, but they were unable to win their 28th title in 2024 after losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Boone will for sure have Aaron Judge in 2024, but he is likely unsettled awaiting the Soto decision.
The Yankees will look to win their second straight AL East title for the first time since the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
