Some people are starting to wonder if Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz will ever actually be traded.
We have been hearing about Mitchell being shipped out from the Jazz for months now but there has been seemingly no movement with any possible suitors.
The New York Knicks have reportedly been trying to get Mitchell for weeks, offering a king’s ransom for him, and yet the Jazz haven’t budged.
And now another squad is adding itself to the mix.

A new report says that the Washington Wizards believe they are “firmly in the hunt” to acquire Mitchell.
We don’t know why they think that because we don’t know what they are willing to give up to make this deal happen.
Mitchell on the Wiz would be a twist few people saw coming – but could it actually really work?
Donovan In DC
There is no doubt that Mitchell on the Wizards would do great things for the team.
But you have to remember that the Wizards would be required to give up an awful lot to get him.
They couldn’t make this happen with just one or two mid-level players, they would need to pony up at least one All-Star and multiple draft picks to even catch Utah’s eye.
The Wizards don’t have much to give, especially since they won’t trade Bradley Beal (he actually has a no-trade clause in his new contract).
Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis could certainly be part of any package for Mitchell but even they wouldn’t be enough.
Yet, the Wiz feel they have a chance to make this happen, even if it seems far-fetched to those on the outside.
What does Washington know that we don’t?
