A new suitor has emerged for the Washington Commanders’ potential sale.
Current owner Dan Snyder hasn’t confirmed his desire to sell the franchise, but most reports state that Philadelphia 76ers owner Josh Harris was leading the race ahead of colleague Tilman Fertitta of the Houston Rockets.
But now, FOX Business’ Charles Gasparino revealed that former Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry had shown an interest in entering this race as well.

Lasry, who co-owns the Bucks, is reportedly on the verge of selling his stake to Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and Haslam Sports Group.
Lasry is a hedge fund manager, private equity investor, and co-founder of Avenue Capital Group, and he comes with plenty of experience from his days in charge of the Bucks, who won the NBA championship a couple of seasons ago.
Of course, he would still have to outbid Harris, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is also expected to be a heavy-hitter in this bidding war as well.
Fans have urged controversial owner Dan Snyder to sell the team for years now but to no avail.
Now, shortly after multiple reports of toxic and inappropriate workplace culture, one of the least-liked figures in the National Football League might finally agree to take a step aside.
Should he come to his senses and decide to sell the team, any potential bidder would reportedly have to offer more than $5.5 billion.
Hopefully, we’ll get more clarity on this situation soon.

Snyder selling the Washington football team cannot come soon enough. He is like a destructive cancerous growth eating and destroying what he touches. Is this the mold of people like himself and Donald Trump. You have heard of the “Midas Touch,” Trump and Snyder have the “Manure Touch.” Everything they touch seems to turn to fertilizer!!
I certainly hope Synder ,sell soon ,we as fans deserve better representation going forward, with a new owner, do you think the new owner will change the ,Name of the team to swipe off the prints of Dan Synder,Thanks for listening.
