The Seattle Mariners have been struggling a little bit this season after winning 90 games in 2022.
Last year, they broke their 21-year postseason drought.
But the Mariners remain right in the thick of the race and should not be overlooked, particularly because of a few pieces that have been producing quite well as of late.
One of those pieces is rookie pitcher Bryce Miller.
Miller made his debut in April and is quickly becoming a staple in the Mariners rotation alongside George Kirby, Luis Castillo, and Logan Gilbert.
On Twitter, Sarah Langs took note of a few interesting stats Miller has posted recently.
Bryce Miller is the 1st pitcher since at least 1901 to go 6+ IP and allow 2 hits or fewer in at least 4 of his first 10 career appearances
AND TODAY WAS ONLY HIS 8TH APP! 2 MORE CHANCES TO ADD TO THIS TOTAL

Miller is the first pitcher since 1901 to pitch at least six innings and allow two hits or fewer in four of his first 10 career appearances.
Monday night was just his eighth appearance, and he will have two more chances to add to his total.
The young right-hander gave the Mariners six innings on Monday night against the Miami Marlins, allowing just one run on one hit and striking out six batters while allowing only three walks.
He also earned his fourth win of the year and lowered his ERA to 4.03.
The 24-year-old has pitched a total of 44.1 innings and struck out 39 batters while posting a WHIP of 0.92.
Seattle beat the Marlins by a final score of 8-1 with Miller leading the way.
The young right-hander has been every bit as good as advertised for the team this year and is helping keep them alive in the postseason chase as we reach the summer months.
