The Dallas Cowboys are an NFL franchise that goes all out every offseason in order to put the best possible football team on the field with hopes of winning another Super Bowl title.
Over the course of this offseason, the Cowboys made a point of it to upgrade the receiving corps, with the team bringing in veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks to join the likes of CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup.
One player the team was hoping would be somewhat of a steal is wide receiver Antonio Callaway on the practice squad, but now that no longer seems to be the case, as he was arrested recently for driving with a suspended license via Pro Football Talk.

With Callaway being a practice squad player, it’s possible the team simply parts ways with him after this arrest and moves on.
Callaway showed a lot of promise during his time with the Cleveland Browns to start his career before landing with the Miami Dolphins for a short stint.
He hasn’t played an NFL game since 2020, and that trend will likely continue if the Cowboys do decide to release him, as it’s doubtful another team will take a chance on the troubled wideout.
As for Dallas’ chances of contending in 2023, the Cowboys could become a force to be reckoned with once again and one of the few teams to be feared in the NFC, with the conference quickly becoming the weaker of the two with so much talent being in the AFC these days.
