The Atlanta Braves are off to a strong start in 2023.
On the heels of a 101-win season that netted them their fifth consecutive NL East title, Atlanta now owns the second-best record in the National League at 26-16.
They also have a commanding lead in the NL East, as they are up by five games.
However, they are also leading in a very unique category.
The Braves are the only team in Major League Baseball this season to have hit four home runs that have traveled at least 450 feet.
All four of them belong to Ronald Acuna Jr., who homered last night against the Texas Rangers.
Ronald Acuña Jr. has 4 home runs that have gone over 450 feet this year.
No entire TEAM (excluding the Braves) has more 450+ foot home runs.

This is a unique category that the Braves are leading.
But it also goes to show just how strong Acuna is how much power he possesses.
The 25-year-old already has 10 home runs on the season and has driven in 26 runs.
He is also hitting for a .348 average, has stolen 17 bases, has an on-base percentage of .438, a slugging percentage of .604, and an OPS of 1.042.
Four of those 10 home runs have traveled quite far, and have accounted for all of the Braves home runs that have traveled 450 or more feet.
No team has hit as many home runs that have traveled that far this season.
Again, all of them belong to Acuna, who now has 11 percent of all home runs that have traveled 450 feet or more.
The home run hit on Tuesday wasn’t enough to save the Braves from a 7-4 defeat at the hands of the Texas Rangers, however.
