On Friday, the Boston Red Sox will be opening up a weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
And when the Dodgers and Red Sox face off in a 2018 World Series rematch, several familiar faces will see each other again.
Interestingly enough, the Dodgers have several members of the 2018 Red Sox on their roster.
Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Ryan Brasier, and Joe Kelly will be making their returns to Boston this weekend, just to name a few.
On Twitter, the MLB fan page and podcast “Talkin’ Baseball” posted a graphic which shows how many familiar faces will be seeing each other this weekend.

Interestingly enough, all of these players and coaches played with the Dodgers and Red Sox at one point or another during their careers.
Enrique Hernandez, Alex Verdugo, Justin Turner, and Kenley Jansen were all on the Dodgers roster in 2018.
Verdugo came to Boston in the Betts trade, and the Dodgers recently re-acquired Hernandez from the Red Sox.
Alex Cora and Dave Roberts were the managers in the 2018 World Series.
They both remain in the same positions, but both players played for the Dodgers and Red Sox at various points in their careers.
Roberts was a key piece of Boston’s 2004 championship team, coming from the Dodgers and helping spark the team’s 3-0 comeback.
Cora was with the Dodgers at the time, but was part of the Red Sox’s 2007 championship roster.
Chris Martin was with the Dodgers last year, but is now in Boston.
Needless to say, a lot of connections will be taking place this weekend at Fenway Park.
