Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald is not done cementing his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Instead, he could be the best defensive player of all time by the time he is done.
He nearly said goodbye to the game after the Rams’ victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
After all, there were no more territories left to conquer.
Aside from finally becoming a champion, he has been a three-time Defensive Player of the Year and seven-time First-Team All-Pro selection.
More importantly, he continues to deliver even if the other team sends multiple offensive linemen to block him.
However, he is hungry for more success, especially multiple Super Bowl rings.
His restructured contract also gives him a distinction he deserves, as pointed out by NFL insider Dov Kleiman.
I wrote this tweet before Donald won his SB, it holds true.
No one in his position rushed the QB better, there's a significant margin between him and the next guy.
His latest contract, per @RapSheet, makes him the highest-paid non-QB in history, which only adds to his greatness https://t.co/H9BgU0WBFg

Donald has three years left in his deal and will earn a guaranteed $65 million.
However, he can pocket up to $90 million through bonuses and incentives.
Donald Better Than Taylor?
Kleiman shared his thoughts in response to his May 2021 tweet which said, “I honestly think Aaron Donald will go down as the best defensive player in NFL history. By the end of his career, he’ll be considered better than Lawrence Taylor.”
Taylor was an unstoppable force during his heyday, making him the second defensive player in NFL history to become Most Valuable Player.
But Donald is already giving Taylor a run for his money and may have surpassed him.
In that case, he has three more years to create an undeniable gap between him and “L.T.”
