MLB has decided to take some very important steps when concerning marketing with their audiences outside of the United States.
Today, each series opener for the ALDS will have a Spanish broadcast on MLB Network.
This morning, MLB Network announced that both series openers would have a Spanish broadcast option.
The Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros will get underway at 3:37 p.m. Eastern Time.
The other series is between the New York Yankees and the red-hot Cleveland Guardians.
Game 1 of that series will begin at 7:37 p.m. Eastern Time.
Both games will be available on MLB Network with a Spanish speaking broadcast.
MLB Network is the exclusive Spanish-language home of ALDS telecasts presented by T-Mobile and the action gets underway this afternoon!

MLB Expands Its Horizons
This is a huge step for Major League Baseball.
It’s a great way to market the game and help its audience grow, with people from around the world being able to watch the action with a Spanish broadcast option.
That should help get some more people from around the world interested in the game.
The game can only grow as a result of this.
But it’s an exciting first step that Major League Baseball is taking to try and expand its horizons a little bit.
Over the years, baseball hasn’t been quite as popular as it once was.
This is a chance for baseball to get back on the right foot and grow their audience, which could potentially help restore baseball as America’s Pastime.
It’s a great first step at the very least, and it’s an exciting chance for baseball to regain its footing.
The more people that tune in, the better for MLB.
The postseason is a perfect time to try this.
We’ll see how everything turns out and if the game becomes more popular as a result.
