Injuries keep mounting for the Philadelphia 76ers.
With Paul George leaving the previous preseason game with a hyperextended knee, they’re now keeping a close eye on rookie G Jared McCain.
As shown by Courtside Buzz on X, the Duke product had a nasty fall on Wednesday.
Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jared McCain had to be helped off the court by medical staff after he was knocked down in mid air.

He had trouble breathing and was evaluated for a possible concussion.
Moreover, Sixers coach Nick Nurse revealed that he had to be taken to the hospital after the game vs. the Brooklyn Nets.
The 20-year-old, who was taken No. 16 overall by the Sixers, is an intriguing prospect with a strong scoring upside, even if he’s going to spend most of the season playing behind Tyrese Maxey.
Joel Embiid had raved about his game and his competitiveness during training camp, and some thought he could have a significant role right out of the gate, even with a veteran like Eric Gordon also there.
The Sixers’ addition of Paul George puts them right there as the strongest candidate to dethrone the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference, at least until the New York Knicks traded for Karl-Anthony Towns.
Hopefully, this will be nothing but a scare, and he’s going to be out there and fully healthy for the season opener and beyond.
The Sixers will visit Florida for their final preseason game, a date with the Orlando Magic.
They’ll open up the season on October 23 vs. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, so he’ll have some time to get back to full strength.
