On Thursday night, the San Francisco 49ers will play host to the visiting division-rival Los Angeles Rams in what will be a very important matchup for both teams, with only a handful of games left on the regular-season schedule.
The Seattle Seahawks may be sitting atop the NFC West division standings at 8-5, but the division title is still very much up for grabs.
Unfortunately the 49ers, who arguably need a win tonight more than the Rams do, might be without superstar defensive end Nick Bosa to lead the defense on Thursday night at Levi’s Stadium.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Bosa is currently listed as questionable for tonight’s divisional showdown with the Rams in the Bay Area.
49ers DE Nick Bosa, listed as questionable for tonight, is likely to play vs. the Rams, but the team will test him pregame to make sure.

With Bosa being the heart and soul of the defense, the absence of the four-time Pro Bowler could be a game-changer for this matchup, especially against an offense like the Rams have, which can light up the scoreboard like it did last week in the win over the Buffalo Bills.
However, if Bosa can get on the field tonight and play up to his potential, the 49ers might have a good chance to take down Matthew Stafford and company and keep their hopes of clinching a playoff spot alive.
The Rams are currently the underdogs in this matchup at +3, but that could change if Bosa is given the green light to play on Thursday night.
