The 2025 NBA All-Star Game is in the books, and people are already looking ahead at what will come next.
We know where the 2026 and 2027 All-Star Weekends will be held, but where will the league go after that?
It’s not official yet, but Evan Sidery reported four cities allegedly in consideration to host the 2028 All-Star Weekend.
Sidery said that Atlanta, Boston, Milwaukee, and Orlando are all in contention for the 2028 event and that an announcement should be made this summer.

The location isn’t the only thing up in the air.
After this year’s All-Star Game, many people feel that the league needs to make some serious changes to the format and shake things up.
They believe the entire weekend has grown incredibly stale and the game at the center of it all is a muddled and boring mess.
While Commissioner Adam Silver might publicly say the 2025 All-Star Weekend was a huge success, he is surely hearing all of the negative feedback.
That means we can expect the 2026 Weekend, held in Los Angeles, to be different.
And the 2027 Weekend that will be in Phoenix will also be tweaked.
Therefore, by the time the 2028 All-Star Weekend rolls around, things could be radically different from what we saw this year.
All four of these cities have very popular teams with strong and loyal fanbases.
Hosting the All-Star Weekend, no matter how many problems it has, is always an honor, and all of these cities will fight hard to take it on.
