3 Potential Landing Spots For Odell Beckham Jr.

With the NFL offseason closing, and mini camps starting, one big name wide receiver still needs a team in 2022.

That star is Odell Beckham Jr.

The former Los Angeles Rams receiver has been without a team since his contract expired in 2022.

While some thought the Rams would offer him a contract, they never did.

However, it might have been because of the injury he suffered during Super Bowl 56.

That injury will keep him on the sidelines until November.

But even with him recovering from his ACL injury, there are three potential landing spots for him in 2022.

3. Baltimore Ravens

The first potential landing spot for Beckham is the Baltimore Ravens.

They need a star wide receiver after letting Sammy Watkins go and trading Hollywood Brown to the Cardinals.

Without those two weapons for Lamar Jackson, the team has unproven talent at the receiver position.

However, that can change with a move to sign Beckham.

But the team might pass on him if they can wait until November to get him back on the field.

While that could happen, they would be wrong to do this.

They need someone to help Jackson, and it’s better to have someone no matter when they will help.

With the Ravens history of being playoff contenders, they fit in Beckham’s mind as a team he’d be willing to join.

2. New England Patriots

While the New England Patriots haven’t made an offer to Beckham, one of their players sure wants him there.

Matthew Judon has been trying to get Beckham to New England since March.

With the receiver noticing this, he at least responded to him and his attempt to recruit him.

However, the Patriots need to make their move to get him on board.

They are a team who dominated the AFC East for over a decade.

But they did this with Tom Brady and rarely with a star receiver.

With Beckham, they would give second-year quarterback Mac Jones a target with tons of experience.

It could also help put them back as the number one team in the AFC East.

1. Green Bay Packers

The one team that needs OBJ the most is the Green Bay Packers.

It also wouldn’t be the first time they have gone after him.

#Packers Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and Matt LaFleur all made an "aggressive pitch" to @obj, trying to recruit him to join Green Bay, according to @PSchrags

Before Adams left Green Bay, and before the Rams got him, Rodgers and LaFleur were said to have made an aggressive pitch to the receiver.

With Adams out of Green Bay, OBJ would be the clear number one guy for Rodgers.

It would also help ensure the Packers stay in playoff contention.

However, even with the previous news of the Packers personnel wanting OBJ, they have yet to give him an offer.

But that could change if Rodgers isn’t clicking with his new receivers in Green Bay.

If they are in danger of losing the NFC North to the Minnesota Vikings, and OBJ is still available, they most likely will get him.

He offers them the best chance to make the playoffs again, and he’s someone Rodgers already wants.
