The 2022 NFL season is going to be rough for some NFL quarterbacks.
For those quarterbacks, 2022 could be their last chance with their team.
However, they could change that with a good season.
But it’s difficult for quarterbacks who lack talent around them.
Those quarterbacks still need to prove they are good, regardless of their offensive weapons.
So what three NFL quarterbacks are on their last chance with their team?
3. Sam Darnold
Sam Darnold is already in hot water with the Carolina Panthers after one full season with them.
The team attempted to trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson in 2022 but failed.
After all of the drama from this week, the Panthers don’t have Deshaun Watson or have to see that man twice a year. All in all, I ain’t even mad it’s just funny.
David Tepper still embarrassed himself though.

However, they got quarterback Matt Coral late in the NFL Draft.
With Carolina signaling they will replace Darnold at some point, he’s clearly on his last chance with the team.
The move might seem unfair to the fifth-year quarterback, who was injured during the 2022 season.
But his injury wasn’t the only problem he faced during their last season.
He was without his top running back Christian McCaffrey because of an injury he suffered in week three of the NFL season.
His offensive line also couldn’t protect him, as 2021 saw 35 sacks on him.
That ranked 11th among starting quarterbacks and could have been higher if he didn’t miss games because of his shoulder injury.
However, he’ll need to work with what he has with his final chance in Carolina.
2. Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones is another quarterback with little to work with.
Saquon Barkley has been injury prone, hurting the running game which took heat off Jones.
Kenny Golladay, a top receiver from his time in Detroit, failed to perform in New York.
Now the Giants have former starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor on their roster.

While he’s a high level backup currently, he could be the starter if Jones doesn’t perform in 2022.
However, Jones can change his fate if he remains healthy.
Injuries in 2021 plagued him and prevented him from finishing the season.
If his season is injury free, he could do just enough to stick around in New York.
1. Tua Tagovailoa
The one quarterback that has only one chance left is Tua from the Miami Dolphins.
His former head coach didn’t want him, and rumors surfaced about how ownership wanted quarterback Tom Brady over him.

Now the team is stuck with Tua for 2022.
However, they have given him an elite offense for the upcoming NFL season.
He’s got Tyreek Hill at receiver, Terron Armstead to protect him at tackle, and several good running backs.
The Dolphins are a playoff ready team with these players.
After losing critical games against teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons last season, he has no excuses this season.
Had he won those games last year, the Dolphins would have made the NFL playoffs.
However, his chance at redemption starts in 2022.
His team is one of the best on offense for this NFL season.
Failing here would spell the end for the young quarterback.
That would mean the Dolphins pass on his fifth-year option.
