The 2022 season has a Chicago Bears roster that has very few names that casual NFL fans know.
While they have Justin Fields and Eddie Jackson, two players everyone knows, some players on the roster are unknown.
Those unknown players are also underrated.
However, there are also some known players that get underrated as well in Chicago.
Who are the three most underrated Chicago Bears players, known or unknown, on their roster?
3. Robert Quinn
With Khalil Mack gone, the Bears need an edge rusher to take his place.
In comes Robert Quinn, filling that spot left open by the Mack trade.
2021 saw him with a breakout season, posting his best numbers since 2013.
He had 18.5 sacks, a half sack under his single-season record in 2013, and 49 combined tackles.

With his performance last season, he showed he still has gas in the tank on defense.
It also showed he was better than Mack, who never broke the sack’s record while in Chicago
It was also Quinn’s best season since his 2013 season with the Rams.
While some might not know him outside of Chicago, he made his mark loud and clear in 2021.
He will continue that in the 2022 NFL season.
2. Cole Kmet
One thing Chicago needs is a tight end with dependability on his side.
Ever since the days of Greg Olsen ended, the Bears have searched for a replacement to match his talent.
Here’s where Cole Kmet comes into the picture.
While he isn’t a perfect receiver, he’s shown he can break tackles when he gets the ball.

However, 2021 saw him drop some touchdown passes that are making Bears fans think twice about him.
But with Kmet entering his third season, he can show those people doubting his talent that they are wrong.
While he saw more drops last season, he had a higher catch percentage along with more broken tackles, receiving yards, and receptions.
Those things went unnoticed by some people.
This season will be better for Kmet.
Fans who saw his highlights know this.
1. Darnell Mooney
Allen Robinson was the number one receiver in Chicago for some time.
However, the Bears let him go in free agency.
With their number one receiver gone, fans wanted them to sign a new top receiver.
While the Bears did sign and draft players for the receiver position, none of them were top guys.
However, one Bears receiver can step up to the calling of being their number one guy.
That player is Darnell Mooney.
While 2021 saw Robinson regress, Mooney had a great season.
He cracked just over 1,000 receiving yards for the season and looks ready to do it again.
It is a tall task for the young receiver, but he can handle it.
With another great season, fans can no longer ignore the player Chicago has in him.
He will no longer be underrated, as he’ll be the newest top receiver for the Bears.
With the competition he has in Chicago at wide receiver in 2022, he knows he needs to step up to remain the top player.
