The 2023 season was one for the record books for the Detroit Lions.
Not only did the Lions win the NFC North last year, but they won it for the first time in franchise history.
The Lions have been one of the worst teams in the NFL for quite some time, but last year, they showed what they can do with the right players in place.
Their culture has been given praise since Dan Campbell walked into the building, something they continue to grow and develop every day.
As the Lions look towards the 2024 season, hoping to advance even further than they did last year, they have to deal with a few roadblocks that stand in their way.
The Lions have been hit with the injury bug lately, and in a recent practice, they saw three of their best players go down with injuries.
According to reporter Brad Galli, Terrion Arnold exited practice with an upper-body injury, Ennis Rakestraw Jr. was dealing with his ankle, and Jahmyr Gibbs suffered a blow to his leg.
Lions injury updates Monday night:

This isn’t the news Lions fans were hoping for ahead of the season.
It will be interesting to get more reports on these three players, especially Gibbs, who was their top running back last season.
David Montgomery served them well as a change-of-pace back, but they would prefer to have him in tandem with Gibbs, an even more electric rusher.
Arnold and Rakestraw are vital pieces of the defense, which proved to be a solid unit last season as well.
Can these three get healthy before the regular season begins?
