The NFL offseason has reached the point where every team has begun training camp.
Every team spends training camp trying to find the best 53 players for their roster.
Yet, some good players have still not signed with a team.
Two of the big names that are still available are Ezekiel Elliott and Dalvin Cook.
According to Dov Kleiman, the Patriots, and Cowboys are interested in signing Elliott.
The Jets seem to be the one team most involved with Cook.
Update: The #Patriots "remain highly interested" in signing former #Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott, and Dallas are also in the mix to re-sign him, sources tell @jeffphowe
The #Jets have also been "in on Elliott", per the report.https://t.co/R32KTIrHjm

Elliott was released at the beginning of the offseason and has not had much interest.
The usage he has received over his career has done a number on him.
He is no longer the explosive player that we saw over the first few seasons of his career.
That is one of the key reasons why he has not had much interest.
Even though Elliott is no longer a workhorse, he can be a very good short-yardage player.
Dallas used him in short yardage and around the goal line last season.
That led to his scoring 12 rushing touchdowns.
A player like Elliott does not need any reps in training camp or the preseason to be ready for the season.
It would make sense for him to sign with a team around Week 1.
Running back in the NFL is one of the toughest jobs in all of sports.
Elliott and Cook may be waiting for the right situation to open up until they sign.
You can bet we will see them playing football at some point this season.
