Only three players in the league have recorded at least 10 quarterback pressures while facing double coverage this season. Williams is tied for first with Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea at 11 pressures, with Barmore registering 10.

Williams has emerged as the cornerstone of New England’s defensive line while logging more snaps than any other player up front. His combination of power and quickness has created problems for opposing offenses throughout the campaign.
The Patriots have posted an 8-2 record through Week 10 with Williams playing a central role in that success. He has accumulated 27 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and eight quarterback hits while consistently disrupting interior blocking schemes.
Barmore’s journey back to the field carries added significance after blood clots limited his availability last season. He has returned to anchor the interior and shown flashes of his 2023 form when he led the team with 8.5 sacks and 64 tackles.
His ability to shed blockers and collapse the pocket has complemented Williams’ explosiveness off the snap. The pairing of Williams and Barmore has given New England a defensive identity built on interior pressure and run-stopping ability that defines their approach on that side of the ball.
