The Buffalo Bills are about to possibly have a couple of NBA legends walking around the halls in Orchard Park.
According to Sportico, Basketball Hall of Famers Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter are in talks to buy minority stakes in the team from western New York.
The two were teammates on the Toronto Raptors in the earlier part of their storied NBA careers.

McGrady and Carter are not the first athletes to buy stakes in a franchise in a different sport from their own.
New York Jets star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, formerly of the Green Bay Packers for 18 seasons, owns a minority stake in the Milwaukee Bucks.
Future Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who spent his legendary career with the Arizona Cardinals, has a minority stake in the Phoenix Suns.
Even Kansas City Chiefs MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes owns a stake in the Kansas City Royals of the MLB.
What McGrady and Carter are trying to do is not that uncommon, but it is rare to see a couple of NBA players purchase minority steaks together within one organization in a different league.
Regardless, it is still interesting to see a couple of legends from one sport take an interest in a team from another sport.
Perhaps the fact that McGrady and Carter have such fond memories of playing across the border in Canada played a role in their decision to pursue this.
Time will tell to see if the dynamic duo can officially put pen to paper in the near future or not.
