On Monday, the news that everyone in the NFL had been waiting for finally came to fruition, with the Green Bay Packers trading superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.
Despite Rodgers announcing that he’ll be suiting up for the Jets next season, New York and Green Bay couldn’t see eye-to-eye on a blockbuster deal that made sense for both sides.
As a result, this blockbuster trade was in danger of falling apart, making for an awkward situation for both teams moving forward.
However, the two storied NFL franchises were finally able to come to an agreement on a deal to send Rodgers to New York, which has sparked reactions from Jets stars Sauce Gardner and Breece Hall via Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

The Jets have been waiting for this moment for quite some time, and now the team to can plan for the immediate future with one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the league under center for at least one season.
Rodgers will have plenty of talent around him in New York with Hall, Garrett Wilson, Mecole Hardman, Allen Lazard and Tyler Conklin on offense and Gardner, Quinnen Williams, C.J. Mosley on defense.
With this blockbuster trade between New York and Green Bay having finally come to fruition ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, it’ll be interesting to see what moves the Jets make on Thursday to surround Rodgers with more talent ahead of next season.
The Jets might be able to make some noise in the draft to bring in a few more players that can make an impact right away.NEXT: Fans React To Today's Major Aaron Rodgers News
