Can one pass save the public opinion of a singular player?
After Russell Wilson‘s first season as a member of the Denver Broncos has been marred with negativity and regressed play, his play on Sunday might have changed his opinion in the public eye.

This play is reminiscent of Wilson’s performances as a member of the Seattle Seahawks.
He was calm, cool, and collected, and he threw a bomb that went for over 40 air yards.
Is this the catalyst that Wilson needs heading into the 2023 season?
After going on to beat the Los Angeles Chargers in this game, the Broncos finished their season with a record of 5-12.
Although the Broncos were expected to perform significantly better than that this season, Wilson’s spectacular play in this game was nothing to sneeze at.
Wilson turned in one of his best stat sheets of the season, throwing for 283 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
This was a positive way to end an otherwise negative season for Wilson and the Broncos.
Many NFL pundits had decided that Wilson’s career was over, even though he is tied to the Broncos for the foreseeable future.
With a new head coach incoming for the 2023 season, and having a lion’s share of offensive and defensive talent, Wilson and the Broncos should have ample opportunities to succeed next year.
The Broncos division, the AFC West, is loaded with the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.
They will need to make some major changes next season, and that will need to start with Wilson improving his overall play.
