The New York Jets are in the spotlight, but it’s not for something that they have chosen.
As many have reported, the Jets are bracing for impact, as they are likely going to be picked to appear on Hard Knocks.
Mike Florio of NBC Sports reports that the Jets could be picked for Hard Knocks “Despite making known publicly (and privately) their lack of interest in serving as the focal point of this year’s show.”
A news segment from New York Post Sports also discussed what this year’s installment could look like.

Hard Knocks comes with its own set of challenges, given that it typically films teams that have been struggling.
The Jets were the subject of this documentary in 2010, which provided many soundbites and memorable moments.
Being that it has been 10 seasons since the Jets appeared on Hard Knocks, they are certainly eligible to partake.
If these reports are accurate, how will this year’s installment pan out?
The Jets are currently amid a 12-year hiatus from the playoffs.
While adding Aaron Rodgers certainly can’t hurt their cause, many have wondered what this year will look like.
Rodgers’ final seasons in Green Bay were filled with drama, rumors, and an overall lack of energy and excitement from him.
Will that be the case with the Jets?
Or, will Rodgers have a newfound energy ahead of this season, hungry to show the team what he has left in the tank?
Hard Knocks will likely peel back the layers of the Jets’ organization, showing football fans their preseason process.
