The NFL draft season is officially upon us.
This is the best time of the year for draft enthusiasts as they look to find the next stars in the making.
One position that is always under more scrutiny than the rest is quarterback.
All the teams selecting in the top five or ten are most likely in need of a new signal caller.
This draft class seems to have four quarterbacks that all have a chance to be high picks.
It was looking like Alabama’s Bryce Young and Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud would be the top QB options.
Also, Kentucky’s Will Levis was in the mix.
But, there is a lesser-known QB that is starting to rise on draft boards.
That is Florida’s Anthony Richardson.
Even though he may not be as proven as the other QBs, Richardson has all the skills to be elite.
More often than not, NFL teams are not drafting based on production, but instead on traits.
Richardson has all the traits that make scouts salivate.
Daniel Jeremiah said some NFL teams have Florida's Anthony RIchardson ranked as second-best quarterback: 'big-time ceiling, big-time ability. I know it's a little bit of a rollercoaster, but teams starting to look at quarterbacks as lottery picks and this has the biggest payout'

Former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah thinks that Richardson might have the biggest upside of any QB in the class.
The rest of the pre-draft process will be huge for Richardson and the rest of the quarterbacks.
Coming up next week is the NFL combine, where most of the NFL stars started their journey.
Depending on how these players test and throw on the field could sway some teams one way or the next.
Either way, the upcoming NFL draft is set to be one for the ages.NEXT: The Cowboys Have Announced Their Full Coaching Staff
