The Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians squared off in the second game of a three-game set at Progressive Field on Saturday night.
The White Sox emerged victorious, winning by a final score of 7-4.
However, earlier in the game, things got a bit heated between the two AL Central rivals.
In the bottom of the sixth, Jose Ramirez slid hard into second base, where shortstop Tim Anderson was covering the bag.
The two exchanged words before ultimately engaging in a fight, which caused the benches to clear.
On Twitter, BetMGM posted a video of the moment when Anderson and Ramirez went after each other.

This ultimately resulted in several ejections and will most likely result in some suspensions as well.
But the rivalry between the White Sox and Guardians is a heated one, as is typically the case between two teams in the same division.
Anderson and Ramirez exchanged a few punches before Ramirez swiped at the White Sox shortstop with his right fist, clipping him in the jaw and knocking him down.
Anderson was subsequently carried off the field by Andrew Vaughn as he continued to shout at Ramirez and other members of the Guardians.
The series is now even at a game apiece and Sunday will mark the rubber game between the two AL Central rivals.
Things will likely remain heated in Sunday’s series finale after what took place on Saturday night.
It took a while for order to be restored, and it’s a safe bet that both sides will have a chip on their shoulder.
