Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks hasn’t played NBA basketball in months but he has still stayed busy.
Not only did he get engaged to his long-term girlfriend but he has also been working hard in the gym and practicing in order to get ready for 2023-24.
A video of Doncic moving hard during a conditioning session was tweeted by a fan account recently.
It has fans thinking that their favorite Mavericks star will be in good shape when the season tips off in October.

Although the clip is short and doesn’t show too much, it is clear that Doncic is putting in the work to stay fit.
This is good news for a number of reasons.
Firstly, the Mavericks are going to once again rely on Doncic a lot in the new season.
Even with Kyrie Irving on board, Doncic will still be the team’s leader and most important star.
Secondly, Doncic has a history of not being in the best of shape when returning from the offseason.
There have been times when he has looked a bit overweight and sluggish.
He has always worked the weight off during the season and has always been in fine form by the middle of the year.
But it’s good to see that he will likely be ready to go and in peak physical form when the season begins instead of halfway through it.
The Mavericks have a very important season ahead.
They need to redeem themselves after the colossal collapse they experienced last season, missing the playoffs entirely.
Doncic will be a huge part of that.
And if the Mavericks aren’t able to turn things around, there are rumors that he won’t be with them much longer.
