The Buffalo Bills failed to address their need for a wide receiver at the NFL trade deadline. But after their Week 10 loss to the Miami Dolphins, they knew they had to do something.
With that in mind, they signed veteran Mecole Hardman, and former teammate Tyreek Hill believes the new Bills wide receiver could be a difference maker.
“Happy for my bro. He [gonna] be a difference maker for Josh Allen. Watch,” Hill said.

As much as Hill likes his former Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Hardman may not have much to contribute. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be a free agent at this point in the season.
Hardman has never been much more than a rotational piece who can have a big game now and then, but he’s not someone who provides consistent production, not even with his Super Bowl experience. That being said, it’s not like he can’t help the Bills, who are lacking at the position.
No one is getting open, and even though Allen is getting plenty of time to throw and is extending plays, he often has to do everything himself because of the lack of talent around him. The Bills can’t get anything going on offense when the opposing defense shuts down running back James Cook.
They reportedly tried to trade for Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle, who has emerged with Hill out for the season, but Miami likely didn’t want to help an AFC East rival. The Bills are failing their MVP quarterback, and though this move isn’t likely to do much to help their cause, it would’ve been worse to do nothing.
