The Tennessee Titans should already be thinking about the 2026 NFL Draft.
They’ve won just one of their first seven games of the season, and, given their upcoming schedule, things won’t get much easier for them for the remainder of the season.
With that in mind, multiple teams have already picked up the phone to inquire about multiple players’ availability.
And while they’ve already made it loud and clear that they won’t move on from star DT Jeffery Simmons, they could move other players.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, they have three potential trade candidates:
“The Titans are willing to listen to trade offers on players such as tight end Chig Okonkwo, cornerback Roger McCreary and outside linebacker Arden Key, sources told ESPN,” Schefter wrote.
It’s easy to understand why the Titans won’t want to part ways with a player of Simmons’ caliber, given that he’s one of the best defensive tackles in the league right now.
Nevertheless, it’s not like this team is just one piece away from contention.
They don’t even have a head coach right now.
As such, perhaps they would be better off making the most of his trade value while they still can.
He could get them a solid trade package in return.
This has been a disappointing campaign for a Titans team that was the first to part ways with its head coach this season.
And while Cam Ward has some impressive physical tools, he clearly still needs to put in a lot of work on his technique and decision-making.
The trade deadline is a little over a week away, and it’ll be interesting to see how the Titans’ roster looks after November 4.
