Most NFL fan bases do not shift their attention to the draft until late in the season. Several struggling franchises have already reached that point before the calendar has turned to December.
The Tennessee Titans used their bye week to assess their situation before facing the Houston Texans in Week 11. Tennessee would enter that matchup as the league’s only one-win team, sitting at the bottom of the standings while holding a strong position in early draft projections.
Recent data from Kalshi Sports shows the Titans currently have a 28 percent probability of landing the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s draft. That would represent the second straight year Tennessee holds the top selection.

The New York Jets follow with a 22 percent chance, while the Cleveland Browns sit at 12 percent and the Las Vegas Raiders at 10 percent. Tennessee controls its own path toward securing the top pick for consecutive seasons.
Finishing with the league’s worst record would guarantee the Titans the first overall selection and a crucial opportunity to reshape their roster. The competition behind them remains close, which could open the door for potential trade scenarios if Tennessee chooses to explore that option.
Current reports suggest the organization could have a strong interest in Rueben Bain Jr. from Miami as a draft target. The Titans could consider trading down within the top six selections while still positioning themselves to draft Bain.
That approach would allow Tennessee to maximize both draft value and roster flexibility heading into the offseason. The final stretch of the season will determine whether the Titans lock in the top spot or face decisions about how to best leverage their draft position.
