Very little has gone right for the Tennessee Titans this season, as the team is 3-11 and has major question marks at quarterback that are clouding their future.
One thing that has gone right is the kicking game, as Nick Folk has had a strong year missing just one of his 22 field goal attempts and converting all 25 of his extra points.
Unfortunately, Folk will be a game-time decision for the Week 16 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, which has prompted the Titans to make a roster move just in case the veteran is unable to suit up.
“Titans are signing K Brayden Narveson to the active roster and tacking on another year to the deal to have him under contract [through] 2025, source says,” NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo wrote on X.

Narveson is a rookie who was cut by the Titans prior to the season after he was signed as an undrafted free agent.
He then signed with the Green Bay Packers and played in six games, making 12 of his 17 field goal attempts and all 16 of his extra points.
He gave Folk a run for his money in camp with the Titans, and Tennessee will now bring back a familiar face to serve as a contingency plan in case Folk succumbs to any injuries or decides to hang it up after the season.
It’s never too early to start thinking about next season when you’re 3-11, especially in this situation when the team has a 40-year-old kicker.
