The Minnesota Twins are a team with a lot of question marks heading into the 2022-2023 offseason.
After leading the American League Central for much of the 2022 season, the Twins began to slip in the standings and ultimately finished in third place in the division with a 78-84 record.
Now, Carlos Correa has hit the free agent market once again, and several other players have joined him.
Twins insider Do-Hyoung Park tweeted a list of notable Twins players who are no longer on the 40-man roster as of now.
Notable players joining Correa in free agency include Gary Sanchez, Dylan Bundy, Chris Archer, Devin Smeltzer, and Michael Fulmer.

Twins Have Holes To Fill
These are some key pieces that are no longer on the roster for the Twins.
Of course, they still have Luis Arraez, Miguel Sano, Max Kepler, Gio Urshela, Jorge Polanco, and Byron Buxton.
But several notable players are not on the roster as of now and could end up leaving in free agency.
The Twins’ second half collapse was catastrophic, as it took them from first place to six games below the .500 mark by the end up the season.
Having both Sonny Gray and Joe Ryan in their rotation is a good start, but the offense may need some upgrades if the Twins plan on bouncing back into contention in 2023.
With so many notable players having hit the free agent market, the Twins will need to be busy in order to stay competitive in the AL Central with the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox.
