What an offseason for the Philadelphia Eagles.
They added Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens, and Nakobe Dean via the 2022 NFL Draft.
They’ve also traded for wide receiver A.J. Brown and signed Zach Pascal.
The Eagles also got more draft capital for next season via a trade with the New Orleans Saints.
On defense, Philadelphia also welcomed linebackers Kyzir White and Haason Reddick.
But with their latest move, the Eagles signed Pro Bowl cornerback James Bradberry on a one-year, $10 million deal.
Upon his signing, NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport took note of the team’s menacing cornerback duo.

Rapoport tweeted, “Darius Slay on one side, James Bradberry on the other” with three fire emojis to signify the explosiveness of this tandem.
When both players are at their best, opposing teams might find it difficult to score, let alone complete deep throws.
Bradberry is a welcome addition as his team must twice face two top wide receivers in CeeDee Lamb and Terry McLaurin.
Their elite secondary can also address wideouts like Michael Pittman Jr., Michael Thomas, Chris Olave, Jarvis Landry, Diontae Johnson, and Chase Claypool who they will face this season.
Why The Bradberry-Slay Connection Is One Of The League’s Best
Both players have the ability to cover the other team’s best receiver.
Likewise, they are the only NFL players since 2016 to have more than 15 interceptions and over 80 pass deflections.
With Bradberry and Slay on the same team, opposing quarterbacks might find it hard to hit their targets.
Therefore, the Eagles should make a deep playoff run if this tandem remains healthy.
Aside from having a solid defensive crew, their offense could also thrive with Brown, DeVonta Smith, Miles Sanders, and Jalen Hurts.
