There has understandably been a lot of attention given to multiple teams across the NBA right now, including the surprising Portland Trail Blazers, ailing Los Angeles Lakers, and incredible Milwaukee Bucks.
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics haven’t been getting as many headlines despite the fact that they are 10-3, second in the East, and have won 6 games in a row.
They also have an offensive rating that is literally making history.
We gotta talk about this Celtics offense. Through 13 games, they're on pace to be the best offense of all time and way ahead of the no. 2 offense in the league (Nuggets). pic.twitter.com/EBcp09QmQ5

Steph Noh dug into the numbers and pointed out that they are on pace to be the best offense of all time.
When you look at the facts, the Celtics are ahead of teams like the 2020-21 Brooklyn Nets, 2020-21 Blazers, 1967-87 Lakers, and others to claim the best offensive rating in NBA history.
What’s more, they are shooting 39% from the three, and the second-highest percentage of corner threes.
Yes, the season is still fresh but is it time to consider this team a historic one?
Celtics Strong
The Celtics are just a few months removed from their latest appearance in the NBA Finals.
As we all know, those Finals ended with another ring awarded to the Golden State Warriors despite the best efforts from Boston.
Since then, the team has doubled down on what makes it special and has become even stronger.
Does this mean that they are on their way to another Finals showing?
Possibly, but the East is much stronger than it was last year: the Miami Heat who met them in the Eastern Conference Finals are now sitting in the 10th spot, for example, while the Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, and Cleveland Cavaliers have surged by leaps and bounds.
Still, Boston is doing more than winning, they are dominating in certain aspects of the game.
They aren’t just winning, they are making history.
